Exploring the new stuff.

A New Place for taking a nap.

Rich put his back out of whack when he moved in with the old guy and things are still kind of jumbled up around here.  He still needs to figure out what needs to go into storage and what can be given to charity.  Maybe life will begin to get back to normal when stuff gets straightened out, but meanwhile I have a bunch of new stuff to explore.
I was taking a look around last night and appreciating the old guy’s favorite Romare Beardon print on the wall which seemed to upset Rod.  He actually yelled at me while I was checking it out.  He also got shaken up when I almost knocked over one of his granddaughter’s surfing trophies.  Geez!  With all the new furniture, it’s easier for me to get up to some of the high places and just get away from things once in a while.  Hey, Rod, I’ll make sure I don’t break anything.

  1. Tibbles, you are a hopeless cat -- you could have pulled down Rod's large colorful Beardon painting or print, smashed the glass and probably damaged the art work ...

you sure have a lot of NEW places to play and hide with all the stuff Rich brought over -- hopefully soon he will decide what he needs to get rid of ...

hey, Tibbles, even if Rod looks like Dracula's cousin in a recent face shot, if he doesn't scare YOU, he won't frighten any of your / his blog viewers -- bitte sehr, get a pic of him on your blog to convince everyone that he actually exists ...

this morning around noonish the locksmith came over to repair the security wrought iron door lock that was broken for a week already -- the key broke off and although I tried to fix it, the deadbolt lock was not flush with the side of the door jam and it couldn't be locked -- NOTHING worked, even the door knob -- anybody could have broken through the inside wooden door -- now everything is OK and I can once again sleep at night feeling secure -- did Rod's key ever break on his home door? How did he go about getting the broken part out and get it working again ??
