Pasta Play.
It's always fun when the old guy decides to have spaghetti for dinner. He cooks it on the stove and then drains it in a colander in the sink. That's when I sneak in and grab a piece. I used to just play with it, but I found out that it's also pretty tasty. I guess it's pretty easy to make, but the old guy isn't a bad cook and also makes some really delicious meat sauce to go with it and sometimes lets me have a little. I'm not sure how good it is for me, but it sure is yummy and I'm sure a little bit every once in a while won't hurt. Anyway, the pasta is fun to play with and to eat. Sometimes Rich picks up some food from Pick Up Stix for us and their chow mien is also some fun food. Not a bad life I lead.

Tibs Grabs His Angry Bird…Hook, Line and Sinker.
It’s a lot of fun playing with Rich, but he can sure be a
big tease. We were playing with one of
my Hartz angry bird toys last night and I don’t think he was expecting me to be
able to grab the whole thing. It’s hard
for him to reach me when I’m up on the ledge, so I was able to outwit him this
time around. The old guy says it reminds
him of one time when he went deep-sea fishing.
He hooked a really big fish and it yanked his fishing pole right out of
his hands. Luckily, one of the deckhands
was able to gaff it or the old guy would have lost the whole thing.

Another Trash Night
I always get a little nervous on trash night because I'm never sure how much of my stuff is going to get thrown out. It's almost a sure thing that I'm going to lose a wine case or two, but that's no big deal because I know I can always rely on the old guy always buying another case of "Two Buck Chuck". Rich usually stocks the refrigerator with his soft drinks and I get to play with the empty carton. That's kinda fun. They're tossing out all kinds of stuff tonight and both of the trash cans are totally full. Maybe they'll buy a whole bunch of new stuff I can get my paws into next week.

Tossing Tibbles
There's never a dull moment when Rich is around and I'm never sure what to expect next. The other night, he was picking me up and tossing me onto the couch over and over and it was really kind of fun. I think the old guy will watch out for me and make sure Rich doesn't get too wild--at least I sure hope so. Rich also had me jumping into my red cube and I didn't realize how much I had beaten it up over the last few months. Those cubes sure don't last very long. Rich was up in L.A. photographing the marathon over the weekend, so I don't think he'll be messing with me too much tonight. He had a pretty rough couple of days in the wind and the rain and was totally wiped out when he got home a little while ago.

Little things please little minds.
I've got more toys than I know what to do with, but sometimes it's the little things that I enjoy there most. I've always been fascinated with rubber bands and I snag them and paper clips off of the old guys desk every chance I get. The old guy says, "Little things please little minds". I guess he should know, but I need to watch what I say, or he might cut me off from some of my treats.

Tibs meets Odin.
It's been an interesting week for me. A couple of days ago, Carli, the old guy's granddaughter, came down to visit us with her mom, Robin and her baby boy, Odin. Odin was born on December 13 and is the old guy's first great-grandson. I guess Odin hasn't learned how to use a litter box yet, because Carli had to put a diaper on him. That doesn't look very comfortable, but he doesn't seem to mind. Odin is the first baby I've seen and I wasn't quite sure what to make of him. I think we're both about the same weight. The old guy was really happy to see them and they all had a nice visit.
That evening, Rich went to Pick Up Stix and brought back a bunch of great Chinese food for dinner. They let me have a little Chow Mien and a couple off small pieces of chicken, but then covered up everything so I couldn't grab any more treats. I was doing a pretty good job of trying to get into some of the chicken and rice until Rich caught me in the act. Those plastic lids are a little hard to open, but I was really close to getting in the goodies. I 'll have to sharpen my claws some more the next time I try to help myself to some extra chow.

Tibs catches the Hartz Angry Bird
Rich and the old guy were trying to clean up some of the mess I made in the living room yesterday and it turned out to be a lot of fun for me. The old guy wanted to through out a big piece of packing paper, but I decided to play with it and it turned out to be quite an adventure. It was a good place to hide and pounce on the angry bird Rich was using to tease me. I did a pretty good job of grabbing that little bird and he ain't going to bother me again. HA!

When is dinner served?
It’s been kind of quiet around here for the last few days
and the old guy hasn’t been feeling all that great. I’m hoping things are going to liven up a little. I’ve been waiting patiently for the old guy
to break out some chicken snacks, but it hasn’t happened yet. I know he just cooked another chicken just
for me and it’s cooling off on the kitchen
counter. Come on, Rod, get out of your
chair and start carving up that chicken.
I’M HUNGRY!
