Lazy Play

Yesterday was just one of those kinds of days where all I wanted to do was kick back and relax.   The old guy broke out some more of the toys Rich brought down and I tried playing with them, but my heart really wasn’t in it.  It was hot and muggy again, and Rod finally broke down and turned on the AC.  What a tight wad!

The old guy said the weather reminded him of when he was in the Air Force and going to technical school in Biloxi, Mississippi back in 1951.  At least there aren’t any monster mosquitos buzzing around.  Rod said the weather was also like that down in Panama City, Florida where Rich was born 50 years ago this month.  It’s just not the right kind of weather for a little kitty, or an old man.  Maybe it will get back to normal soon.  I’m hoping the old guy remembers that it’s Tuesday today and he can get his Rubio’s fish tacos on special.  I could go for a little nibble on one of those right now.

  1. Tibbles, I sent you a nice fuzzy cat bed -- why don't you ask Rod to put it under the air conditioner so you can snooze comfortably on those hot muggy days ...

fish tacos again? why not chicken tacos?? Don't they sell mouse tacos at that place?

  2. Thank you very much for the cat bed and all the other stuff. I now have four cat beds, but i don't like to sleep in any of them. I either like to sleep on the couch, in the old guy's bed, or up on top of the closet in his office. We have central AC, so there are vents all over the house. Sometimes I like to lay on top of one in the dining room, but it gets kind of drafty.

  3. Rubio's has a "special" on their famous fish tacos every Tuesday after 2:30PM. They are usually $2.35, but only $1.50 on "Fish Taco Tuesdays".

  4. What a shame you don't like the nice cat bed I sent you ...

here's another idea for it ...

put it at the head of Rod's bed with the open side facing downward -- it would make a great cozy fuzzy pillow for him to rest his head on
